TCD Catharometer Portable Analyser N2-H2 and more than 15 gases

DESCRIPTION

The FTGM analyzer accurately measures variations in a constituent within binary or pseudo-binary gas mixtures (e.g., mixtures in which only one constituent varies). Examples include hydrogen, carbon dioxide, argon, helium, and various halogenated hydrocarbons such as freons. Virtually any constituent of a gas mixture can be measured, provided its thermal conductivity differs from that of the other components. Ranges from high ppm levels to 100% are possible depending on the gas measured. A maintenance-free katharometer sensor measures the thermal conductivity of the gas. The sensor consists of a highly sensitive and low thermal capacity element that requires no maintenance. Signal processing is handled by a microprocessor, which provides exceptional accuracy and range for this type of sensor. Virtually no calibration is needed due to the inherent high stability of the system.
